The Ohana Circle in Detail
This Down 2 Earth (D2E) Women's Circle occurs on the 4th Saturday of each month, except November & December.
There will always be a Contemplation, or a monthly topic, for participants to reflect upon and share within the circle.
Topics/questions are typically inspired by the New Moon of the month we gather, plus the element of the current moon we meet under.
Often, the topics will provide an invitation to become aware of and be present with, certain traits, beliefs, and patterns we hold. Individually, we decide where we go with that information.
The Reflection Topic
helps guide you inward, tease out
what wants attention, and provide the parameters in which we will
explore and share. How deep you are willing to go is up to you.
The talking portion of the circle runs for one hour, providing a structured space for each woman to share the
gold of her reflections. (if not gold, lead or mercury is ok too)
Generally, the individual reflections are not responded to within the larger circles -
within the smaller circles, they may be depending on time.
This is a space where everyone gets to listen to the various shares within the circle.
By listening to the other reflections, one may find the diversity of perspectives offers nuggets of wisdom to one's own experience. In this way, there is an opportunity to learn from one another's human-being-ness.
This is a co-created and private space for each woman to receive the medicine of BE-ing with one another in authenticity.
Most circles have a potluck afterward so the women can catch up, learn more about each other, and if they so choose, go deeper into the subject reflected upon.
We are not alone on this journey we call Life.
We get to come together to celebrate that fact and we can build sisterhood while we're at it!

Some more details to cover about this space
Exchange
This is a donation-based offering for local women who live on the Big Island. The real exchange is you choosing to show up to the gathering and getting real with yourself and with others. The sweet spot will be creating a community with other women.
Safety & Privacy
All attendees must read and agree to the community guidelines before attending a gathering.
Residents Only
Due to the nature of deepening and creating community, this circle is only open to women who are fortunate to call the Big Island "home", or for those who will be on the island for three months or more.
Age Diversity
Mature, young women are welcome. Please let Crystal know if you are younger than 21 when you request to join your first circle.
